Why Do We Want To Be As Girls From The Covers Of A Magazine?

Why Do We Want To Be As Girls From The Covers Of A Magazine?

We used to write compositions in school about the role models in our life. The girls wrote about their mothers, teachers, or their friends. We read a variety of magazines and watched various shows, taped posters on the wall, but we didn’t try to live that way of life.

Today things look different. The girls are too mature, and they use makeup every day even at elementary school, they put artificial nails, and their role models are just a forbidden theme. Girls want to look like dummies in the showroom and models from the front page of the magazine. The problem is that no one publicly speaks about the things that are happening in these perfect photos.

All of us don’t have the perfect measures, long blue hair, and blue eyes. And we don’t have to! Fashion industry sets trends, and society teaches us that all these patterns should be followed. The girls look up to women who don’t eat for days to have a skinny body, yet in the Instagram, they set up a photo of breakfast where they eat five croissants with pudding. Are such things realistic? No, but the girls want them.

Everyone wants the latest slippers with fur, just because a famous starlet wore these a few days ago. And it’s not a problem in clothes and shoes that will be worn for one season, but nobody will want to wear it in the next season. The problem is in the way of thinking that develops with girls.

Their idols are no longer independent women or scientists. Their icons are the women who put the perfect picture and perfect physical appearance in the first place. With men, this isn’t an issue. You will never hear them talking about a friend who has been wearing the same suit for five years or who don’t know what the hairstyle is with the most famous football player. However, young girls are divided into two groups by that.

  1. GIRLS WHO FOLLOW ALL TRENDS

Their role models are mostly renowned bloggers or starlets, sometimes singers or actresses. They are not models for their work, but for the image, they show themselves each day. Their life is reduced to viewing all their travels and fashion combinations. It is enough for some of them to show a new bag and in seven days that purse will be sold out in the stores. Even if these things don’t look good on them -they’ll wear them. No matter what body they have, they will want the body from the cover. It’s trendy, it’s cool, and everyone in their society wants it.

  1. GIRLS WHO RESIST ALL TRENDS

The other group of girls takes an entirely different attitude. They want everything the other way around. They have a different taste when it comes to music; they wear clothes that were worn ten years ago and talk about natural looks. They make fun of those who follow any trend.

Dear girls, there is no need to have a body from the covers or to have a completely different entity from a revolt, JUST BE WHAT YOU ARE!
