3 Most Important Things I Have Learned During The Last Year

3 Most Important Things I Have Learned During The Last Year

Finally, this ended too. Everyone waited until the last midnight of the year and wanted to say hello to a new one.

I believe that for some people it may have been a great year, but not for me.

It didn’t start out right and it ended up bringing me 12 months of sadness. I don’t like years like these.

I like those that I can remember as if they were coloring books that features all sorts of colors and happy events.

This year left me with trauma, loss, disappointment and fear. But yeah, I don’t blame the year itself only, I blame myself too.

I am angry for not knowing how to stop certain things and for being blind to others.

Nothing special happens when a new year comes. It’s a date only, yet I want to believe that it brings changes along.

It’s okay as long as 2017 never comes back!

I have a million things I have decided to do this year, and I hope to fulfill my wishes, but more than anything I hope to rely on these three things that I have learned during the year. Here are they:

  1. THINGS DON’T HAPPEN THE WAY YOU PLANNED THEM TO

Okay, we kind of already knew this? Yeah, sure. We all know it in theory, but when things get out of hand in real life, we start to lose our head stressing out. It’s a bit funny, just like the question: HOW COME AM I PREGNANT? Well, you surely didn’t get the baby gifted.

What I want to say is that life already wrote a novel for each one of us. You plan a trip and then find out that your flight has been canceled. Who knows for what reasons?

I got declined at a job I wanted to work at, and later I got a job at a different company where I found out how bad was the first one. It turns out, I saved myself and I didn’t even plan to.

So, make plans for 2018., but don’t be surprised by unplanned things too.

  1. KARMA WILL ALWAYS GET YOU.

Sometimes we think that we got out of a sticky situation easily. Don’t bring those conclusions right away… Everything gets you sooner or later. Just like the good things, the bad ones will too. Sooner or later! I know that it is a bit stupid to say: be patient, since I am personally not patient at all. I want things to happen RIGHT AWAY!

But, it just can’t be that way. We need to learn that.

  1. IT IS LATE FOR SOME THINGS AFTER ALL.

This is something we don’t want to hear, but it is like this. What do I mean? When a person insults you really badly and the person is someone you love, later they can take the starts off the sky for you, but betrayal is a betrayal. You can forgive some things, but you cannot forget them all. It is never too late to start all over again. But, when you mess up a significant relationship, you need to know that it is probably over and that the person may have moved on. After all of his tries to get me back, I didn’t give up and let him back. He made a clown out of me several times, and I am not letting him do that again. He should’ve thought about those things earlier; now it is not the time.
